I already have a website at a specific college that is engaged in educational materials publishing for over 11 years and has proven itself with over 5,000+ buyers annually for these 11 years. I would like to take this idea and website to a national level. I know how to design and develop the website, but I need investors ($250,000+), need to sign up potential sponsors and advertisers. I have a website problem that i need some help with. I designed a website that has content updated everyday, the problem is that most internet users do not empty their cache and when they go to visit the site the browser calls up the cached version of the website. Visitors to the site then think that the site has not had any new information added.
How do I instruct the browser to load the newest updated version of the site?

My friend and I have an idea for a website along the design lines of textsfromlastnight.com and fmylife.com – I grew up with computers and have designed and hosted basic websites before but it’s been 6+ years since then and a lot has changed; I’m suddenly feeling very lost.
Right now our plan is to host a WordPress website on GoDaddy – is this the best option? If not, what is?
